Mandy came from the Salem practice to aid in the opening of Pioneer Dental Group in May of 2015. She has been chairside assisting patients during their dental procedures since 2008. Striving to provide quality care, she will extend herself to patients, providing information regarding treatment or treatment options. Mandy also ensures that the practice is prepared to treat our patients with the best dental materials. With her huge, compassionate heart and expanse of dental knowledge, she is great at putting nervous patients at ease.
Mandy is a very active person and a martial arts expert. When she is not in the office providing excellent customer service she can be found out on the river or on various hiking trails in Oregon. She loves the outdoors and enjoys exploring new areas. If you know of any hidden gems, make sure to let her know during your next visit.
Nichole joined the practice in May of 2015 as it was first opening its doors. As a dental assistant, Nichole seeks to ensure her patients are comfortable at each appointment. Most rewarding to her is seeing a patient with a confident smile after treatment and empowering them to take control of their dental care. Nichole thoroughly enjoys working with the team and always looks forward to making her patients’ dental experiences better. Not only does she strive to help our patients but she also looks out for the team by teaching us about office safety. Infection control and prevention of cross contamination is a priority for our practice and Nichole leads the team with training in standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Outside the practice, Nichole can be found hiking the beautiful Oregon trails or out fishing on the river. She is passionate about the outdoors and loves to find new reasons to be outside. Next time you are in for dental treatment, feel free to share your favorite adventure story with her.
Trina joined Pioneer Dental Group in 2017 and helps to round out our front office team. As an Oregon transplant, she brings over 20 years of dental experience and is passionate about always learning more. This experience helps her weed through insurance language so patients are able to utilize their plan benefits to achieve their dental goals. She is a member of AADOM and is always seeking out ways to grow in her career and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her team.
When she is not negotiating dental benefits, she loves spending time with her children and making plans on her escape from Oregon.
Val is a member of our front desk team and joined Pioneer Dental Group in May of 2015. Seems like she’s always wearing a radiant smile, even when she is multi-tasking at our front desk and loves welcoming all our patients to the office. Val started out gaining customer service skills at a young age while working in her mother’s fabric store. The tools she gained there helped her understand how to communicate well with people in everyday situations. Patients who work with Val appreciate her warm and gracious demeanor, and the fact that she always goes the extra mile taking care of their dental needs.
When Val in not helping patients schedule their dental care, you can find her whipping up a delicious chicken blini, making a new dress or chasing a toddler around at warp speed. She and her husband also love to travel and take their son on mini-Oregon adventures. Know a great, kid friendly travel spot in Oregon? Let her know about it the next time you’re in.
Ginny became a patient care coordinator with Pioneer Dental Group in February of 2017. She comes to the team with over 16 years of dental experience and a passion to help patients achieve their dental goals. Over the course of her career, Ginny has gained knowledge that has helped her guide patients through the sometimes confusing world of insurance and financing. She loves helping patients get the smile they want in a way that best utilizes all the tools available to them.
When she isn’t sorting through the challenges of dental planning, she can be found spending time with her husband Dan and their two boys, Lane and Ryan. They love spending time outdoors and soaking up all the wonderful things Oregon has to offer. She loves to discuss your favorite dental stories, so feel free to stop by her desk on your way out and let her know about your visit.
Adrienne joined the practice in August of 2016. She brings attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high and current standards in the hygiene field; traits that are truly appreciated by her patients. Working together to provide the best possible care for patients is her favorite part about being a member of the team. Adrienne feels most accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care.
An Oregon native and former Pacific U student, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and making memories. She loves being outdoors, especially during the summer when she can be found out on the water. Adrienne loves to share her passion for dentistry so make sure to stop her and ask her how she can make your dental experience a positive one.
Angie joined Pioneer Dental Group as a full time dental hygienist in August of 2016. She is passionate about giving patients the smile they deserve. Growing up in Carver, OR helped Angie develop a great sense of purpose which she used to achieve her skill in the dental field. Angie can also help answer any of your dental questions so that you understand dental procedures and how to maintain great oral health. She started out as a dental assistant prior to becoming a hygienist which has helped her see different aspects of the dental field.
As if being a hygiene expert weren’t enough, Angie is also a very family orientated person and finds those familial influences have helped shape who she is today. When she is not helping her patients obtain their winning smiles, she spends time with her family and her cat, Romeo. She is also an avid traveler and adventure seeker. Make sure you say hi to her when you visit the office.
