Pioneer In House Dental Lab Capabilities

Pioneer Dental’s in-house dental lab contains advanced dental technology collectively known as CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) systems:

  1. Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Scanner - Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans are a special type of X-rays. We use this technology to produce 3D images of your teeth, nerve pathways, soft tissues and jaw density quickly.

  2. iCAM 4D Camera Unit - This camera unit is a handheld setup consisting of four camera units and a light projector. It uses scanning techniques to create 3D data for the placement of your dental implants.

  3. Intraoral scanners - Capture direct images of the inside of your mouth. 3D imaging software is used to turn these images into a precise impression of your mouth without the need for messy substances or repeat visits

  4. SprintRay Pro 55 3D Printer - We use this 3D printer to create custom surgical guides, crowns and even full arch prosthetics in PMMA, acrylic and zirconia.

  5. Milling Machines - Are the “workhorse” of our dental lab. We use them to cut crowns, bridges, implant abutments and more from a variety of materials, including ceramic, zirconia, resin and wax.
